Who is the broker of record?

Broker of record

Peter Lohmann

Principal Broker and CEO

Peter Lohmann founded RL Property Management in 2013 and is its Principal Broker and CEO. He is the broker of record for the firm, which is a licensed real estate brokerage in the State of Ohio, and the named reviewer on the pages of this site.

Every page on this site carries a verification date and his name as reviewer, so a reader can see when a figure was last checked and who checked it. He is also the author entity on the articles published in Insights.

Why does a property manager publish its team?

Because you are handing an asset worth several hundred thousand dollars to strangers, and you should be able to see who they are. A management company that lists no names is asking for that trust without offering anything checkable in return.

There is a practical reason too. When a repair goes sideways or a lease question needs a real answer, the useful thing is knowing which function owns it. The groups below are the actual departments: leasing and vacant units, resident support, maintenance, owner service, and the people who run hiring and publishing.

How is the team organized?

By function, not by property. Leasing people lease, maintenance people maintain, and the client service group owns the owner relationship. The alternative model, one generalist handling every task on a slice of the portfolio, means the same person is showing a unit at 4pm and taking a water-heater call at 4:05.

Maintenance is the largest group here, which is deliberate: repairs are where owner money actually goes and where a slow manager costs the most. Median time to close a repair across the portfolio is 6 days, published on the scorecard and refreshed quarterly.

Where does the team work?

Out of Columbus, Ohio, covering 25 Central Ohio communities. Office hours by appointment only, so call (614) 725-3059 or email info@rlpmg.com rather than stopping in.
